National Espresso Day is coming up on November 23rd, so now is a great time to try a few of the area's best coffee shops. Lucky for you, our real estate agents have already visited almost all of the local coffee hot spots. Here's a round-up of their favorites. 

1. Josiah's Coffee: 104 West 12th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104
   Located on the historic Eastbank in downtown Sioux Falls, Josiah's Coffee offers a full espresso and coffee menu and an excellent selection of baked goods. You'll want to make sure you save room for their "locally famous" cheesecakes or other scratch-baked treats. Best of all, you can bring your furry friend! 

2. Coffea Roasterie: 2318 South Louise Ave., Sioux Falls, SD 57106
   Next time you're out and about looking at Sioux Falls homes for sale, stop by and visit one of Coffea Roasterie's four area locations. Whether you're on the east side or west side of the city or you're downtown, there's one not far from you. They have a full menu of espresso drinks, coffee, lattes, cider, hot chocolate, and various teas. Make sure you save room for a biscotti, cinnamon roll, muffin, or a slice of French almond cake -- you won't regret it! 

3. Lava's Coffee & Cafe: 305 West Willow St., Harrisburg, SD 57032
   A "small-town coffee shop" with plenty of warm and delicious treats, Lava's Coffee & Cafe is one of our favorite places to stop when we're in the Harrisburg area. Not only do they make a great cup of espresso, but we also love their smoothies, cheesecakes, and cake pops! After you're fully caffeinated, we recommend taking a drive around so you can get a look at some of the great nearby Harrisburg homes for sale. 

4. Laura's Lattes: 1006 West 5th St., Canton, SD 57103
   Want your espresso with an extra side of good feelings? Laura's Lattes will give you just what you're looking for. This unique coffee shop is owned by Laura Lee Lems, who has Down's Syndrome. She and her family, staff, and management team work hard to create a welcoming environment you'll want to visit again and again. 5. The Source: 421 North Phillips Ave., Suite 101, Sioux Falls, SD 57104
   Located in downtown Sioux Falls, The Source is a small-batch coffee roaster that also serves fine wine and craft beer made by artisan brewers. If you need some calm in your life, you'll love the atmosphere here. You also can't beat the flavor profile you'll get with their fresh-roasted espresso or coffee drinks.
