Charities in Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls is a close-knit community where neighbors look out for one another. When clients look at Sioux Falls homes for sale, the big hearts and generous nature of the neighbors are as appealing as spare bedrooms and meticulously manicured lawns. When you move into the Sioux Falls community, consider supporting these charities on December 3rd, which is known as "Giving Tuesday."

  • Lunch is Served - 1600 E 12th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103
A sacked lunch filled with nutritious treats goes a long way towards fighting hunger for the hardworking men and women of Sioux Falls. In 2018, Lunch is Served provided more than 23,000 lunches that were filled with fruit cups, breakfast bars, sandwiches, and a dash of hope. A simple donation of $10 will provide one week's worth of lunches for a worker. For $100, you can feed a worker for two full months.
  • Make-A-Wish - 1400 W 17th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57104
Some of the strongest and bravest members of the community happen to be some of the smallest. The remarkable men and women at Make-A-Wish go above and beyond to make dreams come true for boys and girls facing life's toughest battles. They are masters at putting your airline miles, old vehicles, and cash donations to work to raise the spirits of these brave heroes.

Painting to Help Sell Home

Our REALTORS® are always on the lookout for the best ways to help clients maximize their home's selling price. Ambitious renovations sometimes yield big profit, but many owners of Sioux Falls homes for sale want to focus on stretching a limited budget further.

For modest budgets and tight timelines, a painting job is the best investment you can make.

Paint is relatively inexpensive, easy to use, and makes a tremendous impact on how buyers see a space. Painting the exterior of the home transforms the first impression and adds to all-important curb appeal. It can make a home seem newer and even look bigger.

Let's look at four ways you can make a big impact with a little paint:

  1. Start With the Front Door
Recent research has shown that there's a clear winner when it comes to the color of a home's front door: Black. A black door has the potential to increase your selling price by nearly 3%. That includes shades like charcoal, jet, and smoke. A professional will paint a door for anywhere from $100 to $400, while high-end homes have gotten a return on investment of more than $6,000.
